Voyager 1 is a space probe launched by NASA on September 5, 1977. Still traveling at high speed, Voyager 1 is currently the farthest man-made object in space. It left the Solar System in 2013 and entered into Interstellar Space. Two well-known phrases add to the inspiration of this choral work:
