功夫狂想曲 (Kung Fu Rhapsody) - for Piano and Full Orchestra

Kung Fu Rhapsody It is my hope that this composition will put the audience in the vivid pages of a martial arts novel. Through the vibrant hues of the orchestra, the agility and the driving rhythm of the piano, together with the timeless melody of "the Martial's Decree," the music portrays the peril, bravery, and prowess of a martial arts showdown, merging the grandeur of Master Wong Fei Hung with the contemporary jazzy coolness of Bruce Lee.

This work is divided into the following segments:

Enter the Dragon (單 刀 赴 會) - Our hero's martial silhouette emerges gradually from the horizon, boldly advancing towards the lair of the tiger, unfazed by the lurking danger.

The Duel Locks Eyes (探 路) - Suddenly, the adversary materializes, and they lock eyes intensely. Each cautiously tests the other with an array of kung fu stances.

Unleashing the first strike (出 招) - At last, someone take the first move, igniting the fierce battle between dragon and tiger. A Martial Dance (武 姿)- The martial movements evolve into a graceful yet lethal dance.

Invincible Benevolence (仁 者 無 敵) –- Our hero's mastery overwhelms the opponent. A triumphant anthem resounds, extolling his skill and victory.

Surrounded Again (殺出重圍 ) Yet, just as the battle seems to be over, our hero finds himself once again surrounded. Can he escape unharmed?
